# How to set up Google/Gmail 2-Step Verification with TypingDNA Authenticator

Go to your [**Google Account Settings**](http://myaccount.google.com/) and click Sign-in & security > Signing in to Google

2. Then click the tab 2-Step Verification

3. Scroll down and select Authenticator app > SET UP

4. Check Next (leave Android selected) and hit NEXT

5. Open the TypingDNA chrome extension and hit “Grab QR code”  
_Note: You must be logged in the extension_

6. Copy and paste the verification code into “enter code”, then hit Verify and Done
