1. Click on your [GitHub](https://github.com/) profile photo, in the upper-right corner, and select [Settings](https://github.com/settings/profile) from the menu.

2. In the user settings sidebar, click [Security](https://github.com/settings/security).

3. Under "Two-factor authentication" section, click **Enable two-factor authentication**.

4. Hit **Set up using an app**, on the Two-factor authentication page.

5. Hit **Copy** (or print or download), then hit **Next**.

_Note: It is recommended by GitHub to save your recovery codes in case you lose access to your account._

6. Hit **Grab QR code** in your **TypingDNA Authenticator** extension (download [here](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/authenticator-by-typingdn/gmohoglkppnemohbcgjakmgengkeaphi), if you don’t have it).

7. Click your newly added **GitHub** account in your **TypingDNA Authenticator** extension. By clicking the account, it should automatically copy/paste your verification code where required.

_Note: It should automatically paste your verification code. If for some reason it failed, just hit CTRL+V/ CMD +V or right click on your mouse and stick it where required._

8. Hit the **Enable** button.

Now you are all set. Enjoy!
